WELCOME!
We hope that you have found your way to our website because you are seeking a place to begin or continue your spiritual journey. If so, we would like to invite you to join us for one of our many activities and, most especially, for Sunday worship.
The May, 2012 Smithsonian Magazine rated Brattleboro #11 out of the top 20 Best Small Towns in America. If that weren’t enough, in March of 2013 Fodor’s picked Brattleboro as one of the 10 Best Small Towns in America.
We’d like to believe that in some small way, the presence and efforts of the Centre Congregational Church in downtown Brattleboro augments our town’s appeal - spiritually, aesthetically & by contributing to our community in a tangible way with our many outreach programs & our spectacular staff!
Centre Congregational Church is a member of the United Church of Christ and we have been serving God and God’s Children in the town of Brattleboro since our church was established in 1816. In our worship, we gather to hear uplifting music and thoughtful sermons, and take time for prayerful reflection.
We are proud to hold ourselves out as an Open & Affirming Church and a Just Peace Church.
In our programs for children, youth and adults, we come together to deepen our faith through study and build a caring community through fellowship. In our mission and outreach, we work to serve the wider community, the nation and the world.
Enjoy exploring our ever-evolving website. We pray that it will inspire you to call or visit us. We'd love to welcome you into the life of our congregation.
