Sunday, January 5, 2020, 10:00 am in the Sanctuary: Worship and take Holy Communion with us, and hear the first of Rev. Scott Couper's "Eventually, Epiphany" Sermon Series, all are welcome! During coffee hour after the service will be a slide show about the November trip to our sister parish in El Salvador.

Wednesday, January 15, 6:30 pm in the Sanctuary: An Evening With Bill McKibben. Join 350 Vermont and 350 Brattleboro for an evening with Bill McKibben, co-founder of 350.org. He will be talking about the current climate crisis, what's at stake in 2020, and reading from his latest book, Falter: Has the Human Game Begun to Play Itself Out? There will be an ASL interpreter, and Q & A will follow.

Friday, January 24, 7:00 pm in the Parlor: Windham World Affairs Council presents Dr. Julie Snorek (Dartmouth College), a friend of our church and Pastor Scott. She will present a lecture entitled "Degrowth: How Our Blessings Have Become a Curse"

Friday, February 7, 2020, 5:30 pm in the Parlor: Take a Moment for Peace: Mantra and Meditation with Yogini Tracy. Join in this simple seated practice of cultivating embodiment, relaxation, awareness and presence - and in-turn cultivating inner peace. We’ll begin with a lightly guided meditation, then Tracy will teach a mantra and we’ll chant it together. We’ll finish our collective practice in peaceful silence. Tracy has been teaching Yoga asana, philosophy and meditation since 2006. She is a lineage holder and authorized teacher in the tradition of Shri Vidya, which is the wisdom of the Vedas (the ancient books of knowledge from India) brought forward through chanting mantras and practicing meditation.
